What is an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)?
Much like the multi-coloured sticker on new appliances, an EPC uses a similar chart to advise you of your home's energy efficiency.
With report rating from 'A' (very efficient) to 'G' (inefficient), the reports tell you how costly it will be to heat and light your property. They last ten years and are legally required when selling or letting a property.
